The brewery was founded in 2003 by fourth generation farmer, Steven Urwin, on the 200 acre family farm in Grade II listed converted farm buildings. High House Farm Brewery uses the barley grown on the farm in it’s award winning real draught ales, that are all named after the farm animals and working collie dogs. They now have a visitor centre, with brewery shop, tea room, function room, farm walk and exhibition. High House Farm Brewery is unique in providing brewing ingredients and returning all waste products and water to the land.
